We are delighted to announce from the 6th – 16th October an Exhibition of drawings and paintings by distinguished artist Rebecca Taber – inspired by the lives and poetry of the two French poets Arthur Rimbaud and Paul Verlaine and supported by the Rimbaud and Verlaine Foundation.
Taber’s paintings are a layering of both figurative and abstract elements, utilising both automatic techniques and careful study. Taber completed her MFA at Bath Spa University in 2005 and has taken part in several residencies including Can Serrat, Barcelona 2005, Kala Art Institute Berkeley California 2006, and Siena Art Institute, Italy, founded by J.P Getty III 2011. She won the WESTAF award in 2009 for outstanding artist. Taber is represented by Nettie Horn Gallery, London and has participated in several group and solo shows both nationally and internationally. Her work is in many public and private collections including Coca Cola Headquarters UK, Gowling WLG, London, and Siena Art Institute Italy. Taber currently lives and works in SW France.
